Today in PSHE, we were learning about how people in poverty make money. We worked in teams to make paper bags and give them to our boss (Miss Mckenzie) for a very small sum of 'money'. We all worked very hard to make the paper bags look perfect, but found that a days work only got us somewhere between 80p and £1.20 between our whole group. We talked about if we thought this was fair and if we were able to support a family on this wage.
