Last Wednesday, Year 1 had great fun at Victorian Day. Cas from North Hertfordshire Museums visited us with an array of artefacts that families would have used during a Victorian Christmas. We had great fun guessing what each one could be. Then we coloured authentic Victorian Christmas cards and put cloves in oranges to make our own Victorian style decorations. In the afternoon, we made Victorian toys like the toys they would have played with.
