Counting forwards and backwards through negative numbers!
Today in maths, we discussed negative numbers, their value in comparison to positive numbers, and where we might find them in real life. We played 'hot or cold'. The counter started on 0 and each player took it in turns to roll the dice. They then moved the counter towards 10 or -10 depending on which one was their goal. We used our skills of counting up and down through 0 to help us (some of us even got really competitive!)
