Dear Parent/Carer,

Tudor Owls are organising a Toy Sale to raise money for our school charities of ‘Diabetes UK’ and ‘Global's Make Some Noise’.

Global’s Make Some Noise is a charity supporting small but brilliant projects across the UK. The projects provide vital help for youngsters and their families living with illness, disability or lack of opportunity.

With diabetes affecting people of all ages, including children, Diabetes UK was a firm choice of ours at Tudor School.  Having friends here that are affected by diabetes, we wanted to do something for this charity that would really make a difference.

With Christmas around the corner, this is a great opportunity for children to tidy their bedrooms and sort through any unwanted toys.  We are asking for children to bring their toy/s into school on Friday 24th November where they will then also be given the opportunity to purchase other toys during the school day that have been brought in (from other children in their class) for 50p per item.  More than one item can be purchased.

The Nursery class’ sale will take place immediately after pick up on Friday. We will set up the toys on the veranda area outside the Reception classroom and a member of staff will be there to sell the toys. The Reception class’ sale will take place immediately after school for 15 minutes in the Nursery classroom so parents will be able to collect their child and then go into Nursery through the outside door off the playground. On that day, Yellow class will be dismissed from the veranda with Red class.

Please can you ensure that all toys brought in are in a condition that you would be happy to purchase yourself.

Any toys left over at the end of the school day will be taken to local charity shops.

Many thanks for your support,

Tudor Owls
