Once we'd looked closely at different tones of the same colour, we then drew pictures of apples from real life.  Next, we used the watercolours to paint the apples and tried to use different tones by using different amounts of water.  Here we are experimenting with the watercolours.

We really enjoyed experimenting.  Here are some of our finished results.
