Sharing of Ofsted Report- December Inspection

A HUGE well done to ALL of the Tudor community...

17th January 2023

Dear Parents and Carers of Tudor Primary School,

Sharing of Ofsted Report- December 2022 Inspection

As you will be aware, the school received an inspection from Ofsted in December. We are delighted to share with you the outcomes of that 2 day inspection process.

The full report can be downloaded below.

We are thrilled that the written report shares the high quality learning environment that we strive to deliver for all members of the Tudor community. The substantial report evidences the tremendous quality of the academic and social experiences that the children (and staff) experience every day at Tudor Primary.

It is clearly evident (and acknowledged by the county advisory team) that the written comments reflect a school experiencing truly high levels of success. The team at Tudor are especially pleased with outstanding comments such as:

  • an inclusive school where everyone is valued
  • a culture of aspiration in the school… high expectations
  • school does not tolerate bullying or any form of discrimination
  • pupils’ behaviour and attitudes to learning are excellent
  • provision for pupils with SEND is high quality
  • a culture of vigilance around safeguarding…all staff know what to do

Such a report would not have been possible without the efforts of all those who have been part of the school since the last inspection and we would like to thank all those who have been part of #TeamTudor and helped make this wonderful report possible. All in #TeamTudor should feel incredibly proud.

We must continue to seek the best outcomes for the community of our school. It should fill us with confidence that the target for improvement is that ‘Leaders should continue their programme of curriculum development’.  Be assured that we are determined to (at least!) maintain the high quality provision that we work hard to deliver. This inspection was not one that would generate a new grade (due to Ofsted’s process) but we are incredibly proud how it acknowledges the huge progress that the school has made- in so many ways.

Thank you again to ALL those who have made this report possible.
