    This week in maths, we have been learning all about sorting. 

    We have been sorting things according to what object they are, their colour and also their size!

    We have also been trying to explain what the rule is for each category. E.g. The rule for circle 1 is the bears have to be small. The rule for circle 2 is the bears have to be big!

  • Our favourite find in the reading corner this week...

    After discovering it in our reading corner, the children have LOVED reading the story 'We're going on a bear hunt' by Michael Rosen. 

    We watched a video of it being read by the book's author, Michael Rosen, and it added a whole new dynamic to the story. Who knew the words 'squelch' and 'squerch' were so hilariously funny?!

  • We are all special.

    This week in Nursery, we have been thinking about what makes us special. We have learnt that our differences make us special and unique, and we have been talking about what makes us different to our friends. The children painted self portraits and tried really hard to use the correct colours for their hair and eyes. 

     

    We have been singing lots of counting rhymes this week, and had to count out the correct number of ducks to recreate one of our favourites. Can you guess which rhyme it was?
