We watched a video of it being read by the book's author, Michael Rosen, and it added a whole new dynamic to the story. Who knew the words 'squelch' and 'squerch' were so hilariously funny?!

We have learnt that our differences make us special and unique, and we have been talking about what makes us different to our friends. The children painted self portraits and tried really hard to use the correct colours for their hair and eyes. 

We have been singing lots of counting rhymes this week, and had to count out the correct number of ducks to recreate one of our favourites. Can you guess which rhyme it was?

This has followed on from our Winter theme last week and the children asked to do some learning around this topic. We have made snowmen with playdough, bricks, shapes, physically in PE and even the large building blocks outside! They answered Anna's question in the story Frozen of 'do you want a build a snowman?' ...in many areas of learning!
