Year 3 Mummify some oranges!
We have found out all about Tutankhumn and his tomb, as well as the role of the pyramids for the Ancient Egyptians. One thing we found out was that the Ancient Egyptians believed they needed their body in the afterlife, so they would mummify it to preserve it.
Now, we couldn't have a go at a PROPER mummification (for obvious reasons), so instead we have had a try at mummifying an orange.
It was great fun, and a bit messy!
