In our workshop this week, Rachel took us on an exciting journey to the North and South Pole. We learnt lots of cool information: the different types of ice, how explorers survive in these extreme environments and that the smallest land animal in the Antarctic is an insect! 

We enjoyed getting into role with lots of different drama activities, which allowed us to develop our understanding of these extreme places. We even got to meet Ernest Shackleton himself! The workshop was brilliant fun. Have a look at the photos below:
