We enjoyed spotting farms and farm animals on the journey to the zoo and then headed straight to the farm area when we got there.  We saw a pig, goats, sheep, cows, chickens, donkeys, alpacas and some huge rabbits.  We even saw a tractor!

We then enjoyed exploring the zoo and investigating where different animals come from along with what they eat.   We know that penguins eat fish because we saw them being fed!

In the afternoon, we took part in a lifecycles workshop and found evidence of the lifecycle of a butterfly in the butterfly house.
