During the home learning period, year one planned their very own car design. Since coming back to school, we have made our designs into reality! First, we built our cars out of paper straws and Sellotape. Next, we attached straws to the bottom to hold our wheels. We talked about how to then attach wheels, so that they were securely on the car but could still roll. We agreed the best thing to do was to put the wheels onto the straws, then use a lump of Blu-Tack to stop them falling off!
