We learned about poverty in PSHE, which is where peoples basic needs are not met. Basic needs are things such as medical help, food, education, clothes and shelter. We made footballs out of plastic bags, scrap paper and string to show how people who are in poverty do not have the money to buy brand new footballs and therefore have to make their own.
