For their Computing Day, Year 3 stepped into the world of green screen technology! The children learned how green screens are used to create amazing backgrounds in films, TV shows, and news reports.
After discovering that a Bronze Age sword had been “found” on the Tudor School grounds, our budding journalists got to work! They wrote their very own news report scripts, planned their scenes, and took turns being directors, presenters, and editors.
Testing the properties of rocks
This term, Year 3 have been digging deep into both Art and Science! Inspired by their Science topic on rocks and fossils, our young artists have been exploring the wonderful world of printmaking — experimenting with layering, rotation, and colour choices.
Year 3 start the year looking at the Stone Age, rocks and making print patterns.
Year 3 end the year with an Egyptian day!
