This week we have had the pleasure of welcoming 'Portals from the Past' into school to lead a day all about Ancient Egypt.

During the day, the Professor taught us about the Ancient Egyptian creation story, the first king of Egypt and we had an up close look at mummification.

Alongside this, we took part in quizzes, solved some riddles and learnt all about hieroglyphics! (It made us appreciate phonics more!).

To add to the fun we dressed up too.
