3S investigate forces in science

We take science very seriously in Year 3, so when we were trying to figure out what surface would be easier for a push force to go over- we had to test it out.

Imagine a police car and a range of landscapes, we wanted to find out which surface would allow the car to go speeding after those getaway cars and catch the crooks more easily. Unbelievably, we didn't have a police car, or a range of landscapes...but we did have our slope and toy car.

After deciding what we needed to control to make it a fair comparison, we got to work testing and measuring carefully. We will now spend some time looking at our results and using them to help us make reasoned predictions.
