1O have been welcomed back to school with our new theme 'From Field to Fork'.
We have kick-started our new learning by reading non-fiction fact books, asking geographical questions about farms, thinking about what we could grow and beginning to discuss the some of the tools used in a farmers daily routine...

Today, we introduced our new Science topic... Habitats!
In 10 this week, we have been looking at how we can split a number into parts. This has helped us to understand how numbers can be added together, we know this as Part, Part, Whole.
In 1O we have been working closely on our theme of ‘Homes under the Hammer’. In English, we re-wrote a poem known as ‘This is the House that Jack build’….

Year 1 were visited by a tennis coach from Leverstock Green Tennis Club. They have been practising their ball stopping skills and batting on the floor to a partner. We were impressed!
