In our Art lessons this term we have taken a trip on a journey to create some amazing self-portraits for the Royal Art Gallery!

We started sketching out our faces using a mirror and a sketching pencil.

We then took a look at different art mediums to help us decide what would work best for our final piece!

We practised using charcoal to help us see how the face has points of light and shade, this was really fun, but we got a little messy!

We moved on you using oil pastels to add colour including our shading. Our Final pieces were FABULOUS! Can you take a wild guess at who is who?

This week we are having some fun with our 'Self-Port r-EGGS'.... we have been mixing our skin tone and sketching on our faces, we can't wait to add hair to our eggs to make them life like! Watch this space!!
