Garden Parties to Giants!

Some super work in and out of school

2Q have been busy, busy, busy...

First, on Monday, we had our garden party.

We were back at it with our chopping, slicing, grating and juicing to create our fruity refreshments.

Then, it was on with the party clothes to enjoy some games and a wonderful performance from Year 1. Luckily, the weather held, and we had enough time to play our games outside before testing our handy work. Yum!

For the rest of the week, we have been learning from home, but that hasn't stopped us!

In English we have read/watched about a very interesting visitor who met the Queen...a giant!

The BFG would need a whole heap more food than we can eat, so we have set about using our knowledge to help plan a meal for him.

As well as this we have thought about what it would've been like to be there and see the BFG enjoy a rather large, royal breakfast.

An Interview with a footman

In Science, we thought about how we can use what we know about animals to help look after them- even if they are dragons.

A guide to looking after a dragon

Another great week to add to all the other awesome weeks we have had this year.
