Tudor Primary School

Today we had a visit from an RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) volunteer.

After a whole school assembly, Year 2 took part in a workshop.  We learned about the work of the RNLI crew members and lifeguards.  We also learned what to do if we are in trouble in the water or if we see someone else who is in trouble.  Here we are acting out what we would do and what the RNLI would do to help us.

We also found out about the different signs and flags that help us to stay safe near water.  This helped us to spot lots of different dangers when we looked at pictures in small groups.
