Tudor Primary School

This week, 3T and 3S have both had their half-term's Computing Day, 'We are Presenters'. We began this session with discussions and learning about e-Safety, in particular learning that we ask for permission when taking photos and videos of someone.

Our aim for the Computing Day was to take on the role of presenters and produce a news report. We investigated and researched the breaking news that an unexploded WWII bomb had been discovered on the Tudor grounds! The children prepared scripts for their news reports, which included emotive interviews with eye-witnesses. They then rehearsed and recorded this in front of a green screen.

After lunch, the children learnt how to use some of the iMovie features to upload and edit their news reports. These turned out fantastically and the children should be really proud of what they created! Follow the link below to see an example of one of the report, or have a look on Seesaw for your child's version.
