Water resistance enquiry

Exploring how the shape of a boat can reduce water resistance

Today, in science we have been learning about water resistance. We made three different shaped boats (e.g. one rectangle, one circular and one stream lined) to see which one would get to the other side of the water tray the quickest. Some of our groups found varied results in which shape reduced water resistance the most, so we evaluated other factors that could have affected this! It turns out, some of our boats weren't as sturdy as we hoped and had let some water in!
