Learning techniques with clay in preparation for making Mayan masks!
This week in art, we have been learning how to 'score and slip' or 'crosshatch' to make pieces of clay stick to one another. We used a metal tool to score each piece of clay, then used slip (a liquid clay) to cement the pieces together!
We will see whether we were successful or not when they dry!
