Learning about our local chalk rivers and how to protect them.
On Tuesday, we took part in a Junior River Wardens scheme to learn about the river Gade and to look for signs of pollution in it. We used PH strips to test the water to see how acidic/ alkaline it was and used nets to find different creatures that live in the river whilst using a classification key to identify them.
