‘Everything I’ve learnt from homeschooling my kids’ (Telegraph, 23.03.20)
I saw this article (https://www.standard.co.uk/lifestyle/london-life/how-to-homeschool-kids-tips-a4393576.html) and thought I'd share. It has handy tips for parents homeschooling but what I loved the most was the web link ideas. I checked out 'Reading Eggs' and 'Mystery Science.' Both these websites look invaluable.
Other great websites for helping children in their learning (including spelling games) are:
- Topmarks: https://www.topmarks.co.uk/
- BBC Bitesize: https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/levels/z3g4d2p
Also don't forget there are virtual tours, resources and games on the websites of museums and zoos around the world. For example...
- British Museum: https://www.britishmuseum.org/closure
- Natural History Museum: https://artsandculture.google.com/partner/natural-history-museum
- The Science Museum: https://collection.sciencemuseumgroup.org.uk/
