Today in 3T, we celebrated the end of World War 2 in Europe!
We had a fantastic day of activities and games, all linked to the end of World War 2!
In the morning, we were "evacuated" into groups with all of the other year 3 and 4 classes. We then took part in lots of exciting activities, including writing a telegraph home and even learning how to do the Jitter Bug! We did an exciting maths activity, and finished off by making our medals of bravery.
After lunch, we had a VE party in our classroom, complete with shortbread, cakes and flapjacks. We made hats and bunting, and some of us even did some painting.
What a perfect way to come to the end of our Autumn Term topic "Is it Right to Fight?"
