In Design and Technology, we have been creating sandals for a Roman Soldier.
First, we researched what the Roman Soldiers would have worn on their feet. Once we knew exactly what kind of sandals the Romans wore, we designed our own. Finally, we stitched a prototype out of felt and wadding.
