Full CalendarSchool Events

This event will take place between 8:45am and 3:15pm on 22/03/2019

We will be celebrating in school in the following ways;

Come to school ready for a ‘Bedtime Story’

On Friday 22nd March, the children are invited to dress up in their cosiest pyjamas as if they were ready for a bedtime story (a great time of the day to enjoy a book together). As they will still be going out to play, please ensure that your child has suitable footwear and will be warm enough.

‘Celebrity’ Story time  (Well, not quite a real celebrity!)

During the day, the children will be treated to a story time from a different teacher to their own.  This will be a wonderful opportunity to share different books and see that reading is something we can all do and enjoy- whatever the age!

Share a Story Reading Star Challenge

Every child will be given a reading star challenge sheet.  There are 20 reading activities to have a go at completing. Complete them all before the end of the Easter term to be in with a chance of winning a book voucher.  Completed challenge forms are to be returned to the school library, which is open Monday-Thursday from 3:15-3:30.

Also, we have £1 book tokens to give to each child. They will be given out in class on National World Book Day (2 weeks before Tudor Book Day) and the details as to how and where you can spend them can be found on the back of the voucher.
