A message from the Friends of Tudor...

On Monday 31st October the Friends of Tudor are running their annual 'Halloween Fright Night'.  Everyone is welcome to join us for an evening of spooky fun.  Entrance is free but this year will be from the Main Playground entrance (down the steps).

The night will start at 5.00pm and will finish at 7.00pm.   There will be lots of spooky themed games and stalls including a whole frightful room (queue for this in the Library – if you dare!)  So don’t forget to bring plenty of change with you.

We will also be serving refreshments, so come and make an evening of it.

If you want to, why not dress up? We’d love to see some creepy fairies or gruesome ghosts.

Don’t forget to bring a torch for the spider hunt, which will be outside in the Foundation playground! Please take care not to go on the grass.

Pumpkin Carving/Decorating Competition

This year’s family competition is to carve or decorate a pumpkin.  Make sure your name(s) and class(es) are clearly marked on the back - so even if you can’t come to Fright Night, you can still join in.  Before school on Monday 31st October, bring your pumpkin to the hall (through the Foundation playground entrance).

Everyone attending the event will be able to vote for their favourite pumpkin.  You’ll even be able to take your pumpkin home after school on Tuesday.

Donate some cakes

We’ll also be running a cake stall to raise even more funds for the school.  Any donations of cakes for us to sell will be gratefully received.  Please bring them to the hall before school on Monday morning.

Sweets and Prizes

As we have done for the last few years, we will be making sure that the sweets we use for prizes and for sale are gelatine free.

Thank you to all those parents who are volunteering to help run a stall.  Please look out for the email from Friends of Tudor.  If you’d like to help out, please send an e-mail to:

FOT@tudor.herts.sch.uk.

See you there
