Tudor Primary School

Tudor Primary School

School starts at 8.45am and ends at 3.15pm.

Learning activities available to the children from the start of the day.

We do not expect to see children and/ or parents on site before 8.30am (unless accessing breakfast club services). The school is obviously not responsible for any children as we cannot provide supervision until the start of the school day. Doors open promptly at 8.45am. Year 5 and Year 6 children must not access the rear of the key stage 2 building before 8.45am due to the lack of supervision in this area.

If your child arrives later than 8.55am, they must report to the school office to be signed in. Children arriving later than 9.00am or 1.25pm are recorded as absent for that session. Nursery starts at 8.45am and ends at 11.45am.

Morning break           15 mins

Lunch break               60 mins

Reception and Key Stage 1 are also able to enjoy a 15 minute break in the afternoon.

COLLECTING AT THE END OF THE DAY

All children in Foundation Stage and Years 1 to 3 must be collected by an adult (or appropriately aged person such as a sibling at secondary school). In the interest of the children’s safety, we will not hand them over to children of primary school age unless there is a recorded written request  from the family and agreement from the school.  If a different adult (or appropriately aged person) is going to collect, please let the school know in advance, either via the red communication book or through the school office.

In Years 4, 5 and 6 it is still the responsibility of the parents to make sure that the children arrive home safely.
