Pardon the pun.... Over the last two weeks in science, we have been looking into the health of teeth. Not only are we now able to name the different teeth, but we could also talk about their functions and what they are used for.  This week in particular we looked at our own teeth. 
 

We each brushed our teeth and then had a disclosure tablet. 
They contain a harmless dye that reacts with the plaque that may remain on areas of the teeth after cleaning. When you see the dyed areas, you can easily identify trouble spots to focus their brushing efforts.

We were all really excited to get home and give our teeth a good brush! 

We then had a map of our teeth where we were able to colour in exactly where the plaque was, often tends to be around the edges.  We all found this fascinating!
