It was a draw with 12 points for each team in the big Teacher Quiz in our final assembly. The children enjoyed cheering on their teachers.
BUT- I cannot believe that Mrs Milesan thought my 1st single was by Jason Donovan! I'm far too old for that...
LOTS of children also got special 'IMPROVED ATTENDANCE' awards. Here are two of our winners- well done all of you who are working hard to achieve amazing attendance!
Some children have gone from below 90% to 100%. That will be a major factor in future success!
End of term assembly celebration today in school!
Who are going to win the awards for the Spring term?
Look at how many 100% attendance awards there are- there are hundreds!
Making a difference at @TudorPrimaryHH
The y6 breakfast club is certainly having a huge impact on those children who have been committed to attend each day. The group has gone from 26.7% age realted in maths to over 70%. WOW- it's amazing what that extra daily support can do!
Do remember to keep checking those class learning blogs on the @TudorPrimaryHH website.
This is what 5X have been getting up to today:
We keep learning and having fun right until the end of term!
Following our Olympic Diving Day back in February, we are so pleased to announce that brothers Jayden and Taylor have both successfully passed STAGE 2 of their diving testing!♂
They have now been selected for the Pre-Squad for regular training!
Amazing news to end the term!
Great to see ex-pupil Nicholas keeping up his hard work at secondary school⚽
A young man who will certainly go far with his focus and determination
He even popped in to see us a few weeks back, where we gave our full support to him for his County Cup Final! https://t.co/1JNbNHiplZ
Unfortunately Tudor have not made it into the semi-finals!
We managed 19 points in our pool, which would have been enough to progress in any other group! We had some great opposition today, but me managed a respectable 3rd place finish!⚽
Another goalless draw against Hobletts! A game we had many chances to score!
That means we have not conceded a single goal this whole day!
We are just awaiting our results to see where we finished in our pool!⚽
We are all set for the cold and wet weather at the Year 5/6 Girls football tournament today!
They've already put yesterday's match behind them, and are striving to do well today!⚽
C'mon girls! https://t.co/7lqTJDjLcJ
Onwards and upwards though...the girls play in the local Football Tournament today!⚽ If these girls play how they have done all season, we really stand a good chance of progressing far today!
We will keep you updated as much as possible!
Absolutely devastated to say the least! Our girls football team were knocked out of the semi-finals on sudden death penalties last night, despite a completely dominant performance from start to finish! We are SO proud of you, you've played AMAZING all season!⚽
Today's the day! Our girls footballers are playing their semi-final vs St Alberts later on today! These group of players have worked outstandingly hard this year, and it is the first time we have ever had a girls representative team! Win or lose, @TudorPrimaryHH are so so proud!
Later this week we will have our Girls Football semi-final vs St Albert! And the following day we have the Girls Football Tournament!
Good luck to all involved! These players are already breaking school records for reaching this far in the local competition, so bring it on!
It was especially great to see those with lesser experience really trying to show what they have learned since February!
Bonus points were awarded for 'turns' with the football (a key focus for us this half term), which stopped the ball rolling out of play or towards a defender!
3S have started the week with a mini-class football tournament during their PE slot!
Children had the opportunity to apply new skills that they have been learning over this half term, and how amazing this was to see!
Our boys football team beat Broadfield in yesterday's friendly, 5-1!⚽A dominant performance, even welcoming 2 new players (Charlie and Archie) to the team!
2 goals each for Tommy and Alan, and 1 for Callum⚽
@TudorPrimaryHH ...we would like to also announce that as part of today's Reception Fairytale day, that Mr 'Weightmina' will also be cheerleading our Boys Football Match vs Broadfield dressed like this⚽
A dominant 3-0 win in our final group game vs Southill!
Two goals from Harrison and another for Tyler!
We are just awaiting to see if we have progressed to the Quarter finals of either the Cup or the Plate competition!⚽
...and here is the squad that will be representing us today!
We only have Year 3's playing today, despite it being a Year 3+4 tournament, so this is a great experience for our youngsters!⚽⚽⚽⚽ https://t.co/yLvRO5BOrj
Both our A team and B team performed brilliantly today!
Our A team continued to show huge developments with 4 draws and 1 loss in the top division, only conceding a single goal in the group stages⚽
Our B team recorded a comfortable 3-0 win, 1 draw and 3 losses⚽
A big thank you to an incredible @SouthHillPS team, who proved to be very tough opposition for us! Every single player can be proud of their performance today!
Thank you to all of the parents and teachers that came out too! You were all so loud supporting us!
