I mentioned in the newsletter on Friday about how we are motoring with maths:
Rosa and Zico in Year 1 are clearly loving their maths lessons- they were so proud to show me their 'R.E. themed' maths investigations today!
We don't just celebrate work on our @TudorPrimaryHH twitter page...
Ethan deserves a special mention for his efforts on 'The Memory Walk' in support of the Alzheimer's Society. He raised lots of money too...
What a fine young man he is! https://t.co/cdaap8pKhg
Awesome maths from Johnny in 5W.
He is organising his maths really well and he is being very successful indeed.
'Go Johnny go go, Johnny B (very) goode'
Great to see so many children (and families!) at the 'Friends of Tudor Family Plan Day' at the weekend. The sun shone and the Tudor children clearly had a fun time! Thanks to the FOT for organising everything...
The first of our Year 1 classes have taken part in the @Sport_England Active Lives Survey, and we must say how fantastically grown up they all were whilst doing it! Thursday sees our other Year 1 class do the same...
It's Active Lives Survey Week - selected classes will be taking part in @Sport_England's Active Lives Children and Young People Survey at some point this week! We are looking forward to receiving our report back, in order to continue to develop our growing sports department!
Evelyn in Year 2 has shown amazing DETERMINATION in badminton at Breakfast Club this week! On Monday she was learning to serve, today she is getting a rally of at least 10 every time! Great stuff from one of our younger pupils! #schoolgamesvalues https://t.co/6t2O45q64r
Just to make you aware, if you received a letter regarding parents taking in the Active Lives Survey, this is only for Year 1 parents to complete! We are looking for as many parents from 1O and 1P to take part in the survey! Thank you!
Remember, today is the last day to hand in your letter if you wish for your child to opt out of the @Sport_England Active Lives Survey. However, if you are happy for your child to take part, you do not need to do a thing!
The playground and field looks crazy busy today!!!!! We have Guy Thomas and Active Advantage leading their afterschool lesson with UKS2, and Mr Wendleken + Mr Jones leading a Kwik Cricket club with KS1!
First Year 5+6 Boys Football Session yesterday! Some great new talent on show, as well as some fantastic experience from some of the older boys! Looking forward to getting some fixtures organised very soon!
PLEASE BE AWARE - @HemelStagsRL are unexpectedly unavailable for today's afterschool club, so the session is now cancelled. Children can be picked up from their classrooms at 3:15pm as normal. All should be back to normal next week!
Tudor Primary has been randomly selected to take part in the Active Lives Survey for the Autumn Term 2018! Be sure to check book bags soon for information regarding the survey and how parents can help us out!
Afterschool today we have Mixed Football (Y3+4), Street Dance (Reception), and Art (Year 1)! 67 children in total will be attending a club just this evening, what a brilliant statistic! https://t.co/aU96ZmcSFA
Year 1+2 Kwik Cricket was our first afterschool club of 2018/2019, led by Mr Wendleken yesterday! The children had an amazing time, and learned some key skills that they will use at the club for the rest of the year!
Yesterday we introduced Mr Jones, our new PE Apprentice, to our fantastically sporty children! Mr Jones is very keen to continue to develop sport at Tudor alongside Mr Higgins, and we are sure he will make a great role model!
They've only gone and done it again...Well done to the amazing Mrs Wash, Ms Smith, Mrs Cohen, and Mrs Donley for completing the #PrettyMuddy 10km in the rain this morning! It's not just our pupils who are fantastically fit and healthy! What brilliant role models we have!☔ https://t.co/2OTYBucsEA
Don't miss out on afterschool clubs this term, so don't forget to bring in your slips before the end of today! All clubs start next week, with the exception of Tennis with Active Advantage (which starts the week after)
Some amazing news to start the year for Tudor Sport... We have received nearly £400 in sports equipment vouchers from our GB Athlete visit day with @inspired_ts !! We cannot wait to bring in some more fantastic, high quality equipment for all the ongoing sport this year!
One last goodbye from Tudor Sports to a truly wonderful Year 6! You have really played a key role in us achieving the Silver @YourSchoolGames Mark for the first time, Tudor's greatest ever sporting accolade! Your secondary schools are gaining some AMAZING pupils!
Mr Higgins would like to thank every single Year 6 pupil for all of their help throughout this year! They have been absolutely instrumental in shaping the future of Tudor Sport, you have been incredible role models to our younger pupils and athletes! Best wishes to each of you! https://t.co/GW84X9mGiq
Each and every player in our squad has developed massively with their footballing ability, and today certainly proved that!
Next year we are really looking forward to welcoming some very talented Year 4's into our squad as they progress into Year 5!⚽
Some fantastic football on show today in our friendlies vs Southill Primary!
Our Year 6 A-Team narrowly lost 1-0 in a brilliantly battled game
Our Year 5 B-Team fought valiantly for a 1-1 draw!
A great way to end the year and our first full footballing season!⚽
It was only right that France won their second World Cup since 1998 yesterday, seeing as that our Blue Team won their first ever Sports Day since exactly the same year on Friday! #allezlesbleus https://t.co/k1okRNIO0X
Passing the Twitter mic back over to Mr Higgins! A massive thank you for the live updates from our very own Social Media Representative, Mrs Rogers! Time for me to read through all of your posts and have a look at some great photos! #teamtudor
