Some super attendance scores this week. Classes that hit our 97% target were:
RED, 1P, 2R, 3S,3T,5W and 6Z- great effort everyone!
5W were the winners with 99.2%- SUPER!
YELLOW and 5X were really close too...
1st assembly of 2019- lots of excitement about our new themes in school.
The children were able to name 24 different forms of transport and we shared some amazing facts about Rome and Space too...

The first home workout was completed at 3:30pm, only 15 minutes after school had even finished!!!!!
Today marked the start of our potential long-term partnership with Fitter Futures! Letters were put in book-bags today with every child's personal log in and password!

3S were creating different ways to travel across a gym mat!
4U & 4V were interlinking shapes from last week, aiming to use these whilst travelling at different heights!
2019 is off to a flyer! We've started with:
Year 3/4 creating different body shapes, for use in a gymnastics routine♀♂
Year 5/6 understanding the rules & scoring of the Bleep Test (even Mr Wendleken joined in wearing a suit!)♂♀

Most of our afterschool clubs for Spring Term 2019 are now at maximum capacity, but there are a couple with a few spaces still available! Be sure to see Mr Higgins or our office team for any last minute sign ups, and we'll try and fit is as many children as possible!
We're incredibly pleased to announce that we now have 58% of all pupils from Reception to Year 6 signed up to at least 1 afterschool club across Autumn 2018 and Spring 2019!
To highlight our development, we hit the exact same number last year, but across ALL three terms!!!!
Our @inspired_ts bronze, silver and gold prize packages went out in this afternoon's celebration assembly! 38 wonderful pupils were awarded for their efforts in fundraising to to support our GB athletes, aswell as sports equipment for our school! Congratulations to you all!

PLEASE BE AWARE - due to christmas performances next week, this will be the final week of afterschool clubs for the Autumn/Winter Term! The only exceptions are Tennis (KS2 on Monday) and Lego (Whole School on Friday), both of which will have their final session next week!

Despite the bad weather, tonight's afterschool clubs are ALL STILL GOING AHEAD! Gymnastics will remain in the hall, whilst Year 3+4 Athletics and Year 4+5+6 Girls Football will both be based over in the KS2 building!
Another fantastic start to the year for the Girls Football Team, winning their league opener away to Hobletts Manor B in an extremely enjoyable 1-0 win! A goal from Racquelle in the first minute, but a truly solid performance from both teams for the rest of the game⚽

They challenged themselves to build a tower of more than 15 speed stacks, and ended up with a whopping 24!!!!!!
