This week, we have been lucky enough to go on a school trip to Tesco, to support our learning about where our food comes from.  

We took a guided tour around the store and learnt lots about where our food comes from, did you know the a cucumber was a fruit?  Mrs.Rogers didn't, which we found really funny!  Then we got to go out the back where all the storage is and the deliveries come in.  We even got to get inside the freezer...it was a cold as you'd expect!  Then we went upstairs and had a go at making our own our own cereal.  We also got to try lots of foods and some very stinky cheeses!

We had a great time and learnt so much about the origins of our food and also how to enjoy yummy snacks without eating too much sugar.
