2Q find Science Week easy cheesy...
2Q have been exploring some of the science behind food, in line with our topic Field to Fork
We explored how dairy farmers create cheese and decided to make replica cheese in class. We were super interested to see how the vinegar would't mix with the milk if the milk wasn't heated...we learnt this had to do with the particles expanding.
However, we also looked at how hard dairy farmers in England work to keep our fridges stocked with cheese. Given this, and how much we were holding our noses whilst we made ours, we are going to stick with the supermarket produce!
