Science!

Over the past couple of weeks we have been learning about forces! We noticed that boats and sea animals tend to be in a particular shape - streamline shape. This shape reduces the water resistance, and therefore the object or animal will move smoothly and easily through the water. We tested the speed of streamlined and non-streamlined boats, and used a hand held fan as our 'push' force. In our pairs we then used a stopwatch to time how long it took to get from one side of the water tray to the other. Can you guess which boats were faster?
