Newsletters and 'New Experiences'!

Rockin' all over the World- Status Quo comes to Tudor...

'This is the best day ever!'

Whilst she did not request a selfie with the famous band member (Mrs Higgins and Miss Umney did though!), Mrs Rogers could hardly contain her delight as the children were given a 'drumming masterclass' by Jeff Rich this morning. The experience was certainly something a little different and I am sure that the children will enjoy telling their parents how everyone joined in and played along.

The morning started with Nursery and Reception 'jigging along' to the drums and fidning out all about drum kits and the different sounds they can make. Key Stage 2 then learnt about the history of drums- I was so impressed with what they knew already!

The presentation finished with Key Stage 1 and 2 playing percussion 'as one' and it was certainly a memorable experience for all. We could hardly keep still!

Our latest newsletter is also being sent home with the children today. A new term brings new ideas and there is lots to look forward to during the next few months. Please do keep a close eye on our website as there is sure to be lots more news and information shared on it.

Mobile users may also notice that we have slightly redesigned the layout of the website. The class blogs are much easier to 'find' and I really hope these become a part of the website you look at regularly. There continues to be so much happening in our school and I want you to know as much about it as possible!

Enjoy your weekend...
